• Rattlesnake National Recreation Area and Wilderness - Missoula, MT
• Travel north on Van Buren Street and Rattlesnake Drive to the sign for the Rattlesnake National Recreation Area. Go '/2 mile farther to Sawmill Gulch Road. Drive VA mile west on the paved road to the trailhead. The area has opportunities for short hikes and cross-country skiing, but there are restrictions on dogs.
