Drift and Float and Hunt for birds with your binoculars on Pangaea's Bird Watching Float
Birding on the Clark Fork River near Missoula, Montana
Birding Like You've Never Done Before!
The Clark Fork River is famous for the whitewater on the Alberton Gorge, but little is mentioned about the awe
inspiring Tarkio Canyon just a few miles down-river from the Alberton Gorge. This canyon is perfect birding habitat
for bird watching.
Drift and Bird
Drift in the deep cool eddies inside our dry, steady rafts as you spot for birds in rich and varying habitat
along the banks. Our trips start early, 7:30 am, so dress warm and eat a good breakfast as we take our time
drifting down the Clark Fork River viewing for birds.
