On this two hour white water adventure you'll find beauty, whitewater rafting and the perfect activity for your basketball team! You Can't Imagine Something This Beautiful so Close to Spokane! The Spokane River carves its way through a steep, ponderosa river valley, gliding between civilization and spectacular volcanic rock formations. These rock formations make the lower Spokane River through Riverside State Park “one of the most interesting class III rapids in the state.” Leave the city behind as you dash through the Bowl and Pitcher and Devil's Toenail. No Experience Necessary! The Spokane River Whitewater trip is perfect for beginners and young children who have never run a river before.

You'll be back to Cheney in time for camp!

Trip Details: 
Date: June 27, 2012
Spokane Riverside State Park Bowl and Pitcher RaftingMeet Time 9:00 AM (with plenty of time to get back for camp later that day)
Meet Place: TJ Meenach Brige, directions will be provided
Trip includes: light snacks and refreshments after the trip
Length: approximate 1.5 to 2 hrs on river
Cost: $45 per person EWU Camp Discount (includes tax and State Park Fee)

What to Bring: Bathing suit or synthetic clothing - NO FLIP FLOPS - sandals or shoes to get wet - dry clothes to change into - hat - sunglasses - sunblock
